Courteney Cox has a Dirt-y new friend. And she's a porn star!

On her new FX series, Dirt, Cox cast real-life adult-film star Stormy Daniels to appear in the first couple of episodes, playing a woman who hooks up with an adulterous basketball player: Rick Fox, former NBA star and the ex-husband of Vanessa Williams

Daniels, a 27-year-old Louisiana native, tells me she was impressed with Fox. He was so comfortable with their hot-tub romp, he did the scene completely in the buff. "I thought he'd be wearing something, but he dropped his robe, and I was like, 'Oh, so nice to meet all of you,' " Daniels says. "I would be more than happy to cast him in one of my movies."

At one point, Daniels' character uses a strap-on to give it to Fox from behind. "I brought my own to the set," Daniels says. "But we couldn't show it, 'cause it was too phallic."

The sex was simulated, but Daniels reports that Fox seemed to, um, rise to the occasion during the outdoor night shoot in the Hollywood Hills. "Even in the freezing weather, I was impressed by him," Daniels giggles. "And I would not be very good at my job if he wasn't enjoying himself. I mean, I'm a trained professional."

She certainly is. Not only has Daniels made a whopping 45 adult movies, she's directed 10 of them. Fans of The 40-Year-Old Virgin may remember her as the blond, well, porn star in a scene in which Steve Carell pleasures himself. Still can't remember her? She's on the cover of the new issue of Penthouse this month.

As for Cox and her husband, Dirt coproducer David Arquette, they couldn't have been nicer. "She included me in everything," Daniels says. "They could have been, like, we don't have to invite the porn star, but I was at their house for a wrap party that she and David had."

And to think, Daniels originally thought her role would just come and go. "It was probably the easiest audition that I've ever done," she says. "I got there and I walked in, and they were like, 'You've got it.' I was like, 'Don't you want me to take my clothes off and jump around the office?' They didn't. Maybe they've seen my movies."
