DJ Snake and Lil Jon have some serious competition from Michelle Obama...and a turnip?!

Yep. On Tuesday, the White House posted a 6-second Vine of the first lady dancing—root vegetable in hand—to the tune of "Turn Down for What." Without missing a beat (or a beet!), Mrs. Obama says to the camera, "Turnip for what?"

So why exactly was the 50-year-old mother of two getting her groove on with a radish relative? Well, Iman Crosson (aka Alphacat) is well-known for his impersonations of President Barack Obama. On Tuesday, he posted an #AskTheFirstLady Vine asking, in character as her hubby, "How many calories do you burn every time you 'turn up'?"

Mrs. Obama, whose Let's Move! program seeks to end the epidemic of childhood obesity, couldn't resist a chance to promote exercise and healthy eating on social media, so she responded with a Vine of her own!

"Hey, Alphacat," she wrote, "The First Lady wants to know... #TurnipForWhat? #AskTheFirstLady #TD4W"

This isn't the first time the first lady's shown off her dance moves in the name of her Let's Move! campaign. She's partnered up with Jimmy Fallon on multiple occasions to encourage parents to get moving with their kids—most notably back in February 2013 with "The Evolution of Mom-Dancing"! In the Late Night clip (this pre-dated Jimmy's Tonight Show takeover), the FLOTUS and Fallon showed off their moves—including ones like the "Driving the Station Wagon" and the "Go Shopping, Get Groceries." The first lady even did the Dougie!

There's a method to Mrs. Obama's dancing, though! "When I do these things, I'm thinking, 'If people see me—the first lady—with my shoes off, running around with kids, sweating, jumping around, making a fool out of yourself, then maybe more moms and dads will say, 'I can do that, and actually that looks fun,'" she told NPR. "I've been pretty conscious about making sure that the attention I get is around good stuff that's going to move the country."

She added there's "lots of dancing going on" at the White House, especially with daughters Malia and Sasha.
