Here comes the Disney Channel's first-ever bride!
In a first for the kids-friendly network, Jessie's main character Jessie, played by Debby Ryan, is set to say "I do" to her beau Brooks (Pierson Fode) in the Oct. 10 episode, aptly titled "There Goes the Bride." And we've got your exclusive first look at Jessie's walk down the aisle, as well as her gorgeous "fairy tale" wedding dress!
In our sneak peek above, Ryan teases the big nuptials, saying, "It's probably the biggest episode of television I've ever done!"
And Ryan reveals she was very involved in the decision-making process when it came to Jessie's wedding dress, saying the process was "a passion" project for her. Press play on the video above for more scoop on the dress, and to see who is walking Jessie down the aisle.
In April, the Disney Channel revealed the proposal news, which is the first time one of the network's lead characters has gotten engaged.
Of the milestone storyline, Adam Bonnett, the Disney Channel's executive vice president, said. "Jessie is an adult, and we felt we could tackle this in a way that still feels appropriate for our audience." He then added that the courtship between Jessie, 22, and Brooks, 25, would be pretty PG-rated, saying, "The way we deal with this romance is very pure Disney fairy tale."
Jessie's big wedding episode airs Friday, Oct. 10, at 8:30 p.m. on Disney Channel.
