If you're not into getting water and ice dumped on your head, you should start learning how to play a the kazoo.

Madison Square Garden owner Jim Dolan donated $100,000 to the ALS Association last night after he helped set a world record for kazoo playing.

Yes, kazoo playing.

Here's what went down…

Dolan's band JD & The Straight Shot opened for the Eagles last night at the Garden. After 7,422 kazoos were handed out to ticket-holders as they entered the arena for the concert, they were asked to play them during the kazoo solo when JD & The Straight Shot performed their new song, "Governor's Song."

The challenge resulted in setting a world record for the most kazoos played at the same time plus Dolan's mega-donation.

The band was joined on stage by New York Knicks stars Carmelo Anthony and Amar'e Stoudemire, New York Rangers all-star goaltender Henrik Lundqvist and tennis legend John McEnroe.

"I'm honored to make this donation to ALS, and very proud that Eagles fans came together to make this moment happen," Dolan said in a statement. "I want to tank Carmelo, Amar'e, Henrik and John for taking the time and having so much fun with us on stage and to the fans at The Garden on Thursday for making this such a memorable event for an important cause."

JD & The Straight Shot has been opening for the Eagles on select dates in conjunction with the launch of their new album Where I've Been. Along with "Governor's Song," other tracks on the album include "Under That Hood" about the shooting death of Trayvon Martin and "Hard to Find," which is featured in the movie St. Vincent, starring Bill Murray and Melissa McCarthy.

In addition to owning the Garden, the Knicks and the Rangers, Dolan is also president and chief executive of Cablevision.

The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge went viral on social media over the summer and helped raise more than $100 million for The ALS Associaiton and other ALS groups around the world.

Celebs who participated in the challenge included Jennifer Aniston, Justin Bieber, Mark Wahlberg, Jennifer Lopez, Kim Kardashian, Matt Damon, Kate Hudson, John Mayer, Rihanna, Dolly Parton, Tina Fey, Ben Affleck, Eminem, Oprah Winfrey, Kathy Griffin, Emma Stone, Shia LaBeouf and Benedict Cumberbatch.

Pres. Barack Obama declined several challenges to participate, but donated $100 to the association.
