When Robert Downey Jr. and Dax Shepard found out their wives were both expecting, they couldn't help but talk all things babies!
In fact, The Judge co-stars debated baby names, sometimes without their spouses knowing.
"We were talking about names," Robert told E! News while his wife, Susan Downey, listened in with surprise. "Yes, very specific names."
And just because their leading ladies didn't find out about their pregnancies till shooting was over, the actors managed to stay in touch via Facebook.
"I'm part of the social media age now," Robert confessed to Jesse Giddings at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival. "I know how to work this stuff." Impressive, right?
To his credit, the talented actor announced his baby news on social media in July. "Yo. Susan. Me. Baby. Girl. November. Scorpio?" the actor Tweeted in signature RDJ fashion (Susan is also a Scorpio, while the proud dad is an Aries).
Speaking of babies, Robert's close friend and Avengers co-star Scarlett Johansson recently gave birth to her first child with fiancé Romain Dauriac.
Did the experienced dad have any advice for the new mom?
"I think she's going to be a great mom," he proclaimed. "Boy, oh boy! I can't believe that she was so preggers during Avengers too. Now she finally had the baby so she'll remember those as the good ole days."
Susan added, "Say goodbye to sleep." Spoken from a true mom!
