The "Suit & Tie" singer recently met with Louisiana native Emily Sanchez through the Kids Wish Network.
After being diagnosed with congenital heart disease and a heart malformation several years ago, Sanchez was told by doctors in 2012 that she was in heart failure. Despite having a rare blood type, doctors found a heart donor match for the young girl this year. One thing that got Sanchez through her heart transplant and other medical complications was the music of her idol Justin Timberlake.
Luckily for Sanchez, her dream of meeting the superstar came true! She recently got to attend his 20/20 concert in New Orleans and met him backstage to pose for pics together. Sanchez's wish also included a mother-daughter day of dining and shopping prior to the show.
"It was amazing!" Sanchez said of meeting her idol. "Thank you all so much!"
"Thank you Kids Wish Network for granting this wish for my Emily," her mother Jennifer said. "It was truly a dream come true, she had a wonderful time."
