You know that sleek new 'do North West has been rocking lately? Well, it turns out that look is self-styled.
Kim Kardashian shared that her one-year-old daughter already has a wee beauty routine. "North likes to brush her own hair. You start with a brush and then you have to get a second brush [for her]. Right when you get it all perfect, she takes the brush and starts doing it herself," she told WWD. "I just started using our oil because I needed to slick it [her hair] back and make it stay. I just use a drop of it, but then she brushes it and likes to mess it all up."
All together now: Aww!
Unlike Nori, Kim's own hair care is a lot more involved. The star broke down a few days of her usual routine during her interview with the publication. "I start out the first day with a clean blowout. The second day, I put in dry shampoo, which adds texture. Then, the third day, I sleek it and I straighten it, and then, the fourth day, I put our oil in it, and I make it a really sleek look. I might do a ponytail or a sleek bun. That's my hair plan, and then I start over." Hey, no one said having flawless tresses was easy!
And although Kim, Kourtney Kardashian and Khloé Kardashian have enviable locks now they jokingly admitted that wasn't always the case. "I had a Dorothy Hamill bowl," said Kourtney. "I actually asked for it because a friend of mine had it and my mom took me to get it done. It was horrendous. I thought it was so cute on her. It was just not cute on me. I looked like a little, ugly boy." Khloé remembered, "I had a bob with bangs. I looked like Pat in that movie [It's Pat] where you don't know if it is a boy or girl the whole time."
Ah, how far they've come!
