The 2014 Emmys ratings are in! The telecast hosted by Seth Meyers on NBC pulled in 15.6 million viewers and a 4.2 rating in the coveted 18-49 demographic.

Last year's broadcast, which Neil Patrick Harris hosted on CBS, had 17.8 million viewers. The 2013 ceremony was broadcast following a football game in late September.

Monday's Emmys were the second biggest overall audience in eight years (2006) with the second highest ratings in adults 18-49 in seven years. The ceremony ran from 8-11 p.m., ending on time.

The 2014 ceremony, the 66th in Emmys history, featured performances by Weird Al Yankovic and Sara Bareilles. Breaking Bad took home the top drama award with star Bryan Cranston and The Good Wife's Julianna Margulies winning Best Actor and Best Actress in a Drama, respectively.

Modern Family won the Emmys for Best Comedy for the fifth year in a row, tying Frasier for most consecutive wins. Veep's Julia Louis-Dreyfus took the top honors in the Comedy Actress category and Jim Parsons won for the fourth time in a row for The Big Bang Theory.
