Considering the relatively tiny window that the Bachelors and Bachelorettes have to theoretically settle on a soul mate while their seasons are taping, waiting a whole year to actually say "I do" must seem like an eternity.

And Andi Dorfman is fine with that!

"Andi is OK with a long engagement," a show insider exclusively tells E! News. "She is in no rush to get married, but she definitely wants to marry Josh."

Josh Murray put a massive ring on Andi on Monday's season finale, and while their courtship and subsequent engagement has plenty of naysayers, we're told that the couple—who have said that they're eyeing "probably spring" as the right time to tie the knot—are still "very happy together."

"They were meant for each other!" the insider gushed. "They are honest and open with one another, very real, they are best friends."

Moreover, "they totally get each other, they are just a perfect match!"

What more could someone want in a significant other?!

And while the focus during this past season seemed to be on how much the guys in the Bachelorette house didn't like Nick Viall, it turns out that Josh didn't make too many friends, either.

"I think it was very difficult for Josh being in the house," our source said. "He is a very jealous guy and for him to see Andi with other guys...well, it was really hard for him."

The source added, "I do think it's a red flag  when someone can't get along with other people, but given the circumstance I believe he was just really into her and didn't want to imagine her with anyone else."

Speaking of which, Nick has said that he really didn't mean to humiliate Andi during the After the Rose special with his how-could-you allegations, and our source believes him, attributing the cringe-worthy (for those watching, at least) display to Nick's wounded feelings.

"He was so in love with Andi," the insider explained. "When he made that comment about the Fantasy Suite, he wasn't meaning to be mean, but was coming from a place of hurt. People say and do things when they are hurt by someone and I think him saying that was an accident—but also very telling about his feelings for her."

Josh at least seemingly managed to shake off what went down during that fateful hour of television, telling E! News yesterday, "I couldn't care less. I didn't even see Nick [on Monday]."

"It is what it is," added Andi. "That's him showing his colors or beliefs…Everyone may be talking about it, but it's so over and done and it's been over and done. This happened months ago, so we've already put that behind us. I'd rather people just talk about us and talk about the happy couple. We did it. We did what the show is all about. We are in love."
