Rivals roughhousing on the red carpet? That's nothing new for Thor and Captain America!

Before Chris Hemsworth chatted with E! News' Kristin Dos Santos at Comic-Con in San Diego, Calif., Saturday, the 30-year-old actor got into a friendly rumble with his 33-year-old Avengers: Age of Ultron co-star Chris Evans. "He started it!" the Australian movie star insisted. "He pushed me first! You saw it!"

Evans and Hemsworth had just walked off-stage after debuting the first footage from the movie. Co-stars Paul Bettany, Josh Brolin, Robert Downey Jr., Samuel L. Jackson, Elizabeth Olsen, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo, Cobie Smulders, James Spader and Aaron Taylor-Johnson also attended the big event.

Hemsworth summarized the sequel to 2012's The Avengers as "epic," and attendees certainly agreed. "This was on another level. It was amazing," the actor said of presenting the clip to 6,500 people. "You all of a sudden realize what we're apart of and what we're involved in and what it means to those fans."

The actor's appearance came 11 days after Marvel Comics announced that a woman will be the new Thor. Though there's been some backlash, Elsa Pataky's husband said he's down with the change. "I think it's fantastic," Hemsworth told E! News. "There's too much testosterone in the superhero world."
