Kristen Bell as Peter Pan? Ummmmm…Yes please!

NBC wanted Kristen as Peter Pan in the live version set to air Dec. 4. However, the scheduling did not work out.

"What's been hard is we've actually had several women," NBC  president Bob Greenblatt said today, "who wanted to do it but they're either busy or can't fit it in to their schedules. Because I need that person from Aug. 5 to Dec. 5. And so that knocks out the Kristen Bells of the world, who is someone I talked to about doing it. But she's doing House of Lies."

And, she's pregnant. And Peter Pan flies. No bueno.

"I talked to her before be that," Greenblatt told  me.

Greenblatt said they had been considering a male for Peter, but now it's definitely going be female and "we are close."
