Cheers, birthday girl Kellie Pickler!

The American Idol season 5 alum, country singer and North Carolina native turned 28 on Saturday and got to reunite with her husband, Kyle Jacobs, after being away from him during her tour, E! News has confirmed.

The singer is promoting her 2013 album The Woman I Am and had performed several concerts over the past few weeks. She is currently taking a break before heading out on a road again at the beginning of July.

Jacobs' birthday was on Tuesday. He and Pickler got to celebrate both of their birthdays with close friends this weekend, the singer's rep told E! News.

On Sunday, June 29, Pickler shared on her Instagram page a sweet photo of herself with her hubby, showing both of them all dolled up, saying, "I'm 28. #birthdaygirl :)"

On June 11, Jacobs had tweeted, "come home @kelliepickler ...miss you singing in the kitchen..."

"Miss you too lover..." she replied.

On June 20, while in Colorado in between concerts, Pickler posted on her Instagram page a photo of the couple's two dogs.

"I'm on the road & my hubby is in Nashville with our babies..." she said. "He just sent me this pic from the studio..."

Pickler tweeted on Saturday that she was headed to Nashville.

On Sunday, she also shared a photo of her kissing one of her pups.

"My pretty lil princess... #Pixie," she said.

On her birthday, Pickler also traded jokes with Ellen DeGeneres on Twitter.

"Happy birthday to the lovely and talented @KelliePickler," DeGeneres said. "I hope you're celebrating with the people you love, and some hooch."

"Thanks Ellen!!" replied Pickler, a self-proclaimed "Jack Daniels girl. "Hope to see you soon...I'll be sure to bring some of my grandpa's "special" hooch! Much love! :)"
