"Friends share secrets, that's what keeps us close."

In the spirit of those immortal words, we're continuing to spill everything we know about Pretty Little Liar's highly anticipated new season. Today as part of E! Online's PLL week, we're highlighting TV's most terrifyingly wonderful blonde: Alison DiLaurentis. (We get chills just thinking about her icy glare!)

We caught up with star Sasha Pieterse on the pretty little set to get all the juicy details on Ali's "twisted" return to Rosewood, that dreaded twin theory, and of course her will-they-won't-they relationship with Emily (Shay Mitchell).

(Warning: Sasha is ridiculously charming—proceed with caution because you'll want her to be your new BFF.)

First things first, we still can't get over the fact that Mrs. DiLaurentis actually buried her daughter alive—and neither can Sasha! "That was something that I actually did not see coming, at all!" the 18-year-old actress explained. "That's really really twisted. I was dumbfounded because how could someone do that?"

We have no idea! However we do want to know the relationship status of Emison now that Ali will finally make her triumphant return to Rosewood. "I think Alison has definitely had a special place for Emily in her heart," Pieterse spilled.

For even more answers on all things Emison, plus exclusive details on Pretty Little Liars' "dark" new season, check out our full interview with Pieterse above!  And make sure to keep checking E! Online every day this week for more exclusive PLL interviews!
