So Axl Rose Is a Better Singer Than Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera, Marvin Gaye and Elvis According to This Chart...

Apparently no one sounds sweeter than Axl Rose.

At least according to Concert Hotels, which has placed the Guns N' Roses frontman atop its new list of the Vocal Ranges of the World's Greatest Singers.

Oh, sweet child o' mine!

According to the site's chart, which purports to line up the various vocalists according to vocal range, high notes and low notes hit in their respective songs, Rose's voice out-stretches that of top-notch divas such as Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera and Tina Turner; out-powers the high notes of Steven Tyler and Freddie Mercury; and drops lower than...Barry White?!

Obviously the now 52-year-old rocker has gotten heads banging with his raspy and yet powerful pipes, but we didn't figure him for a deeper singer than the "Prince of Pillow Talk," or a more diverse vocalist than Mariah.

The interactive chart has Rose hitting an F1 in GNR's "There Was a Time" and a B-flat 6 in "Ain't It Fun," the widest range of all the singers assembled.

Carey is tops when it comes to high notes (and of course she's never higher than when it comes to the G7 in "Emotions"), but Rose is fourth under only her, Aguilera and Prince. Aguilera's range, meanwhile, ranks under Rose, Carey, Prince, Tyler, James Brown and Marvin Gaye.

It's a fun list, be sure to check out the whole thing and see if you agree.
