It's back to work for Amal Alamuddin!

After spending quite a bit of time in the United States with her now-fiancé George Clooney, the human rights lawyer was spotted heading to her office in central London on Thursday morning.

Sporting a blue skirt and jacket, sunglasses and a pair of pumps, the 36-year-old bride-to-be looked simply stylish as she strolled down the street.

Later in the day, the future Mrs. Clooney was seen paying a visit to the U.S. embassy.

Alamuddin arrived back in London on Tuesday, just two days after she and Clooney celebrated their engagement with a star-studded party at Cafe Habana in Malibu, Calif., on Sunday. U2 frontman Bono, the restaurant's owner Rande Gerber and his supermodel wife, Cindy Crawford, were among those in attendance.

According to our source, the bash was well underway by 7 p.m. and the group partied outside in the back of the restaurant under a covered patio, where there was a lot of hugging and kissing as Alamuddin went around showing off her engagement ring.

The source added that Clooney looked very relaxed and was constantly smiling and laughing, adding that he and Alamuddin definitely appeared happy and in love.

While the couple has yet to publicly open up about their engagement, the brunette beauty has earned the stamp of approval from Clooney's family.

"We are very pleased," Clooney's father, veteran broadcaster Nick Clooney, told E! News. "We like Amal and we are very excited for our family and thrilled for them."
