Started from the bottom, now they here.

"Here," of course, being Avenue in New York City, where Drake and his pals were celebrating Johnny Manziel's success during Draft Day yesterday. Known by his nickname "Johnny Football," the 21-year-old is now quarterback for the Cleveland Browns after being chosen with the 22nd overall pick of the 2014 NFL Draft.

So you know what that meants—time to turn up with his boys! "To say we made it...ain't saying enough," Drizzy captioned the photo of him, Johnny and pal Ryan Silverstein.

"Drake came and even got in the DJ booth and deejayed an amazing set to congratulate Johnny," a source tells E! News.

"Johnny Manziel's draft party was held in the mezz," the insider continued, adding that "in attendance were a lot of his college friends and teammates."

Along with a long list of athletes and popular names in the music industry, including Meek Mill, Busta Rhymes, Birdman, Future, A$AP Ferg, Mike Evans (who was also just drafted), Plaxico Burress, Kyrie Irving, Victor Cruz, Odell Beckham, Julez, Santana, Yo Gotti and Texas A&M University football coach Kevin Sumlin.

"So honored to be a Cleveland Brown. I can't wait to get to work. #DraftDay," Manziel wrote on Instagram.

During an interview with ESPN's First Take in September 2013, Drake said he has an affinity toward Manziel and called the two "a duo."

Manziel even has an "OVO" tattoo on his wrist, which represents Drake's record label OVO Sound. According to the rapper, Manziel had the tattoo even before the two met, which proved how much of a fan he was of Drake's music. And over time, Drake became a big fan of Johnny's, too.

"First of all, Johnny is like one of the best guys. He's got a pure heart," Drake said. "He's very strong-minded. It bothers me when people try to strip him of that because that's what drew me to him. He's definitely, like, an incredible guy."
