Fourteen years later and Cory and Topanga are still as adorable as ever!
Though Boy Meets World ended in 2000, the beloved series' main couple has remained one of TV's all-time favorite pairings. And now, Disney Channel viewers will be introduced to the couple when Girl Meets World, the highly anticipated Boy Meets World off-shoot, debuts this summer, bringing Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel back to the small screen in their iconic roles.
E! News chatted with Ben and Danielle on the red carpet at the Radio Disney Music Awards on Saturday, where they dished on Cory and Topanga's life as a married couple with children (!) and what it's like returning to the roles that made them famous. Plus, a famous pop star crashed our interview and had a major fanboy moment in front of the GMW stars!
"We're having a ball. It's been a really crazy, but exciting experience," Ben shared of working on Girl Meets World. "It's not often you can really go revisit a chapter from your childhood and just do it over again. And we're getting to do that, so it's been a lot of fun!"
Danielle shared her on-screen hubby's enthusiasm for their buzzed-about trip down memory lane, adding, "I don't think there are very many people who get the opportunity to create a character that so many people remember and then also get to revisit it."
