We've got some delicious casting scoop for all you TV fans out there!
Although ABC Family's adorable new comedy Young and Hungry hasn't even premiered yet (Pssst! It's June 25), the series is already gearing up for a star-studded first season. High School Musical alum Ashely Tisdale will be making a special guest appearance alongside series star Emily Osment.
But this guest spot is no coincidence! Tisdale is actually one of the executive producers of the highly anticipated new series and it looks like she just couldn't stay behind-the-scenes for long. (Great, now we're going to have "Bop to the Top" stuck in our heads all day…)
Young and Hungry stars Hanna Montana's Osment as Gabi, a bubbly food blogger who is determined to become a great chef in San Francisco. After one awkward night of sautés and shenanigans, Gabi turns a difficult situation into an opportunity for employment and maybe even love as the new personal chef for entrepreneur Josh (Jonathan Sadowski). Are you hungry for the premiere, yet?
Tisdale will be guest starring in an early episode as Logan, a magazine editor who "breathes style and cool." She's originally on hand to interview Josh about his successful career, but she quickly becomes intrigued by Gabi's cooking skills instead.
In addition to her upcoming guest appearance on Young and Hungry, Tisdale recently guested on The Crazy Ones and Sons of Anarchy and is set to star in a new multi-cam comedy, tentatively titled Buzzy's, for TBS. "Couldn't have asked for a better tape night!! I hope everyone gets to see this awesome project #Buzzy," Tisdale recently tweeted after the pilot taping.
Young and Hungry premieres Wednesday June 25 at 8 p.m. on ABC Family.
