For those who have been dying to try out Google Glass, now is your chance! Well, not this exact moment. You'll have to wait until April 15, and you only have one day to get your hands on them.

Google announced on Thursday that they are opening up the Google Glass Explorer Program—which is basically Google Glass testers, to the public for one day only. For the past couple of months, they've been tracking the #ifihadglass hashtag to see what the American public would use the technology for, and now they want to give them the chance.

Hope y'all filed your taxes early and already got your return, because in order to become a part of the Glass Explorer program, you need to $1,500 (plus tax) and you have to be a U.S. resident.

"Our Explorers are moms, bakers, surgeons, rockers, and each new Explorer has brought a new perspective that is making Glass better," the company says in their announcement post. "But every day we get requests from those of you who haven't found a way into the program yet, and we want your feedback too. So in typical Explorer Program fashion, we're trying something new."

So if you're an adult in the U.S. (Google says they are "not ready" to bring the Glass to other countries just yet), and you've got $1,500 lying around, all you have to do is fill out this form and come April 15, spots will be opening up. But only a limited amount of spots are available, so hopefully you've got some tech luck on your side.

And now, we'd like to present a list of people who will probably not be getting the chance to try out Google Glass based on their reasoning for wanting one:

Actually, that's a reason we can totally get behind.
