Peaches Geldof's last interview is haunting to say the least.

Less than one month before she was found dead inside her U.K. home today, the late 25-year-old socialite opened up about parenting and her two infant sons Astala and Phaedra.

"Becoming a mother was like becoming me, finally," Geldof told Mother & Baby magazine (via Daily Mail). "After years of struggling to know myself, feeling lost at sea, rudderless and troubled, having babies through which to correct the multiple mistakes of my own traumatic childhood was beyond healing. I felt finally anchored in place, with lives that literally depend on me, and I am not about to let them down, not for anyone or anything."

Just as haunting as Geldof's last interview was her final tweet. Geldof posted a childhood photo of her and her late mother Paula Yates on Sunday with the caption, "Me and my mum."

In addition to her two sons, Geldof is survived by her husband, Thomas Cohen, and her musician father, Bob Geldof.

"We are beyond pain," her father said in a statement after her passing. "She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us. Writing 'was' destroys me afresh. What a beautiful child. How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable?"

He added, "We loved her and will cherish her forever. How sad that sentence is. Tom and her sons Astala and Phaedra will always belong in our family, fractured so often, but never broken."

Geldof's cause of death is not yet known.
