Kristen Stewart is no longer a brunette. Well, for the time being, at least.
The 23-year-old actress dyed her long locks bright orange for her role in the upcoming movie American Ultra. The Maison de Cheveux in New Orleans colored the face of Chanel's luscious locks and added a snapshot of Stewart with her tangerine-colored 'do and dark roots.
"Kristen Stewart gettin her hair ready for a new role! #americamultra #awesomecolor #houseofhair," the salon captioned the snapshot of the Twilight star, who is cracking a smile and flashing the peace sign, with a stylist.
The Nima Nourizadeh-helmed action-comedy flick is scheduled to begin shooting this month.
Stewart plays Phoebe, the girlfriend of an unmotivated stoner named Mike (Jesse Eisenberg), who live together in a small, sleepy town. One night, their lives take an unexpected turn when Mike's past comes back to haunt him, and he becomes the target of a government operation set to wipe him out. Uma Thurman also stars in the film.
"Simply put, American Ultra will be the most fun you can possibly have in a movie theater without the use of drugs, fireworks or canola oil," producer Mike Bregman told The Hollywood Reporter in November.
