Last night, Kristen Stewart stopped by Beauty & Essex restaurant in NYC for a Thursday-night dinner date with her father, John Stewart, and another woman. The 23-year-old actress and her small group came in around 9 p.m. In typical fashion, Stewart was dressed casually in a T-shirt, jeans and glasses.
According to a source, "They engaged in casual, relaxed conversations the whole night and enjoyed Beauty & Essex favorites such as the Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup Dumplings. K.Stew was very laid back and was especially nice and polite to their server."
The source adds that the group initially ordered the eatery's signature cocktail The Masterly Touch, however, the Twilight star had something more specific in mind and asked for a spicy vodka beverage.
The Beauty & Essex mixologist answered by creating a drink with vodka, muddled cucumber, jalapenos, lime, simple syrup and a splash of Grand Marnier. The newly concocted beverage was a hit with Stewart and she drank a few of them!
Stewart has been in NYC shooting her new movie Still Alice with costars Julianne Moore and Alec Baldwin. She's been spotted both on set and strolling around the streets of the Big Apple for the past few weeks.
