Before Robin Thicke and Paula Patton's separation announcement this week, the lovebirds enjoyed many years and many happy memories together.
In an E! News flashback video from the 2009 Grammy Awards, the 38-year-old actress couldn't be happier about walking the carpet with her soft-singing hubby, who was performing during the show that night.
"I'm not performing with him, but I am with him!" Patton joked to E!'s Giuliana Rancic.
When asked about her custom Grammys gown for the night, Thicke gushed, "I like her when she wears anything and nothing at all."
Flash-forward to 2013. The gorgeous duo were at the E3 Expo where Thicke gushed about their family, "I think we're both very grateful. We've been together for a long time and we've been through a lot of ups and downs and there's still a lot more to come. But you try to enjoy some of these moments when they're happening because you gotta see the good in your life. So we're very grateful right now."
Patton echoed, "Very grateful."
Thicke and Patton announced their split yesterday after nine years of marriage. "We will always love each other and be best friends; however, we have mutually decided to separate at this time," the pair said in a statement.
The two have one child together, son Julian, 3.
