Katy Perry Shows Major Cleavage on GQ Cover, Reveals She Prayed for Big Boobs as a Kid

Katy Perry is embracing her sexy side in the February 2014 issue of GQ.

The "Unconditionally" singer, 29, plays up her inner vixen by donning a revealing $225 OMO Norma Kamali swimsuit on the cover, and she models Cosabella and Fifi Chachnil lingerie inside the magazine. Perry, the daughter of two preachers, admits that she's been obsessing over her bust since childhood.

"I lay on my back one night and looked down at my feet, and I prayed to God. I said, 'God, will you please let me have boobs so big that I can't see my feet when I'm lying down?'" At age 11, "God answered my prayers," she recalls. "I had no clue they would fall into my armpits eventually."

Perry has been playing up her cleavage ever since. "I've never had any plastic surgery," she says proudly. "Not a nose, not a chin, not a cheek, not a tit. So my messages of self-empowerment are truly coming from an au naturel product."

A native of Santa Barbara, Calif., Perry says her views on religion have changed over the years. "I do not believe God is an old guy sitting on a throne with a long beard," she explains. "I don't believe in heaven and hell as a destination." Still, the musician adds, "I see everything through a spiritual lens. I believe in a lot of astrology. I believe in aliens."

NEWS: Katy Perry calls John Mayer a "genius"

Yes, aliens. "I look up into the stars and I imagine: How self-important are we to think that we are the only life-form? I mean, if my relationship with [Barack Obama] gets any better, I'm going to ask him that question. It just hasn't been appropriate yet. I might have won Wisconsin for him," she says of the president. "Actually, I didn't do too much, but he called on me a couple of times. Which was very nice."

Such comments might make Perry sound like a stoner, but she's not a marijuana fan. "The weed—I'm not friends with it. I can't do that stuff," she says. "I'd be like in the corner: 'Are you trying to kill me?!'"

Elsewhere in her GQ profile, Perry touches on her on-again relationship with John Mayer. "I think that I needed to grow up," she says of their initial breakup in 2013. She stresses that they're fairly casual. "I'm just having a wonderful experience with a wonderful guy. There's no rush [to settle down]."
