Liam Payne Freaks Out One Direction Fans by Jumping on Balcony After Zayn Malik's 21st Birthday Party

Loyal Directioners took to Twitter to express their concern after the photo began making the Internet rounds

Who knew one twitpic could cause such an outburst from loyal Directioners?! 

Liam Payne apparently freaked out many One Direction fans over the weekend after a photo of the singer standing on a ledge outside of an apartment building in London began making the Internet rounds.

In the pic, which was reportedly posted by a pal of Payne and has since been deleted, the 20-year-old boybander appears to be perched outside of the balcony of his home, standing a tad too close to the sky-high ledge, causing many fans, who were in fear of the singer's safety, to take to Twitter to express their concern.

"That photo of @Real_Liam_Payneon that balcony thingy really gave me a mini heart attack...please don't do that again!" one anxious fan wrote on Twitter while another posted, "@Real_Liam_Payne should stop thinking he's Batman, when he's not... Stop climbing on your balcony!"

Payne and his pals attended Zayn Malik's 21st birthday that same night, presumably prior to the balcony pic, and his friends shared a number of photos on social media from the fun-filled evening. 

"London with the lads @tomqueens @Real_Liam_Payne @Michaelcoates27," the 1D stud's buddy captioned a pic of the "Story of My Life" singer and another pal posing outside on the singer's balcony, enjoying the evening sunset.

But that wasn't all of the night's wild antics, as the same friend, under the Twitter handle @wilksky, posted a pic of Payne in a taxi as he seemingly heads to a club with a few other friends after attending Zayn's birthday bash. 

And despite the uproar caused by the balcony pic, Payne and his friends apparently had an amazing weekend, posing for a silly pic together while partying the night away. 

"Boys reunited @wilkzyftw @tomqueens @Michaelcoates27 @Real_Liam_Payne #men #oldfriends #bros #LADS," Liam's pal captioned a photo of the four friends before later writing, "What a fantastic weekend thank you once again bro! @Real_Liam_Payne @tomqueens @Michaelcoates27."
