Is TV's best worst date ever finally about to happen?!

Brooklyn Nine-Nine's will-they-or-won't-they couple Jake (Andy Samberg) and Amy (Melissa Fumero)'s ongoing bet about who can make the most arrests has finally come to an end on Tuesday's all-new episode of the Golden Globe nominated hit comedy.

So which detective won the bet? Jake, who now gets to take Amy on the worst date of all time, which we've got an exclusive sneak peek at and can confirm that it's the worst-est. (Totally a word.)

In our exclusive clip, Jake is picking Amy, who is rocking one a dress picked out by the bet winner, and lays down the ground rules. "I decide what you wear, what you ear and where we go," he tells her. "Oh, and there is one more rule. No matter what happens, you're not allowed to fall in love with me."

Um, isn't that line the beginning of every great rom-com from the '80s?!

Looking ahead, we exclusively reported that Adam Sandler is set to guest star in Brooklyn's big Super Bowl episode, which creator Mike Schur is hoping will snare some first-time viewers. "We're hoping a lot of people will check out the show for the first time," he told us, "because the entire universe watches the Super Bowl. And so we really just wanted to sort of introduce the characters to a wider audience. We tried to just build a couple stories that are really explaining in the funniest way who everyone is."

Brooklyn Nine-Nine is up for two big awards at the 2014 Golden Globes on Sunday night, with the show being nominated for Best Comedy Series and Samberg landing a nom for Best Lead Actor in a Comedy Series.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine airs Tuesdays at 8:30 p.m. on Fox.
