Lena Dunham has joined the chorus of celebrities who have voiced their opinions about Shia LaBeouf's skywriting apology for plagiarizing writer Daniel Clowes.

"I've always felt, utterly and unchangeably, that only sociopaths hire skywriters," the Girls star and creator tweeted on Saturday, Jan. 4.

This got the attention of the Nymphomaniac star and he re-tweeted the actress' tweet and then wrote, "I don't mind creating debate with thoroughly considered artistic expressions but I don't want to offend with a tweet. Sorry world." Not a coincidence, Dunham tweeted this exact quote in 2012.

He continued with the message, "I'm addicted to lean & that s--t ain't no joke. I can barely remember all the things I've done & said. However there's no excuse 4 skywriting."

Dunham replied to his tweets saying, "Vaguely recognized Shia LaBeouf's latest twitter apology and realized it was MINE! Touché, Louis Stevens." Louis Stevens was LaBeouf's character on Even Stevens, the popular kid friendly comedy that aired from 1999-2003.

The 27-year-old New York native added, "Projecting a lot of rage against my 7th grade boyfriend on LaBeouf. Think this is the start of something really productive #2014."

This exchange between Dunham and LaBeouf comes on the heels of two weeks worth of apologetic tweets from the 27-year-old actor, culminating in his decision to take to the sky—literally—to express his deep regret on Wednesday, Jan. 1.

The move was widely mocked by most Twitter users, including a few of its more famous members. "This is by far the most I've ever been entertained by Shia LaBeouf," Seth Rogen quipped on Thursday, Jan. 2.

Young Adult star Patton Oswalt tweeted LaBeouf directly and wrote, "If you're gonna be that dumb, delusional AND boring when you speak, just go ahead and plagiarize."
