Lady Gaga's latest look is neither modest nor practical—but hey, what's new? The "Do What U Want" singer stepped out in New York City on Thursday, Nov. 14, wearing black lingerie and a flannel shirt. She completed her ensemble with thigh-high tights and platform boots. Compared to past outfits, this one was relatively tame—until you factor in the chilly temperature, that is.
While there was a high of 52 degrees yesterday, the low dropped to a frigid 33 degrees—hardly the appropriate time to wear a bra and underwear outside (if there ever is one). Still, the 27-year-old singer showed no signs of discomfort as she walked the streets of Manhattan.
It's been a busy week for the pop star, who released her ARTPOP on Monday, Nov. 11. She kicked things off in the wee hours of the morning with a secret show in Brooklyn, and she was honored at Glamour's 2013 Women of the Year Awards later that night. In addition to doing a revealing radio interview with Howard Stern, Gaga has also been gearing up to host Saturday Night Live on Nov. 16.
Her hard work appears to be paying off, as "Dope"—the third single from ARTPOP—debuted at No. 8 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart. It's her 13th song to make it to the Top 10 since she hit the scene in 2008.
