Who knew Guns N' Roses' "Sweet Child O' Mine" could be so damn creepy?

A slow and haunting version of that song is the backdrop in the trailer for Lifetime's newest cinematic adventure, Flowers in the Attic, premiering on Jan. 18. Based on V.C. Andrews' controversial book-turned-cult classic, the upcoming remake stars Heather Graham, Academy Award-winner Ellen Burstyn and Mad Men's Kiernan Shipka aka the coolest teenager on the face of the planet. (Snapple fact No. 23: Sally Draper is better than all of your favorites combined!)

Curious? You should be! We've snagged your official first look the latest Lifetime flick and this 30-second clip is guaranteed to give you thrills, cringe-worthy chills, and will make it hard to look your siblings in the eyes anytime soon...

Flowers in the Attic is the gothic and gruesome tale of four siblings who are locked away to live in an attic, after a family tragedy suddenly removes them from their perfect childhood. And yes, believe it or not, it's even more amazing (and creepy!) than it sounds.

One of the most scandalous books that many people have ever read in their childhood (It was so wrong, but so good!), Flowers in the Attic was an instant hit when it was released in 1979, topping best-sellers lists in just two weeks. Although it's true that this tale is yet another TV remake, Flowers in the Attic is one of the few recycled storylines that we can't wait to see again. (The 1987 film version stripped away a lot of the book's most scandalous themes, like two of the siblings hooking up.)

Take a look at the brand-new teaser trailer above and don't miss the premiere of Flowers in the Attic Sunday, Jan. 18 at 8 p.m. on Lifetime.
