Straying from the typical extravagant celebrity birthday bash, Hilary Duff kicked off her 26th with a low-key night out with her hubby and friends.
The Two and a Half Men actress rang in her big day with Mike Comrie and company in an evening of bowling and fun at the Spare Room at the Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles Friday night, a source tells E! News exclusively.
The busy mom left 18-month-old Luca at home, and showed off her skills on the lanes as she played several games in a gray tank top and leather pants.
And that was just the beginning.
Following the bowling portion of the bash, the crew sang "Happy Birthday" to Duff around midnight, with the birthday girl enjoying a slice of her gigantic birthday cake in the midst of the party.
Duff seemed "blissful" during the event, the source said, cuddling up to Comrie, and dancing, singing and taking photos with pals.
"Love my #friends fun lil #party last night ❤#bowling #cake #birthday," Duff posted on Instagram Saturday, along with a photo of herself with her hubby.
To help ring in her actual birthday Saturday, her pal Beverley Mitchell tweeted, "Happy happy Birthday my friend @HilaryDuff Hope you are having an amazing day! Love ya girl."
And it was clear she appreciated all the birthday love.
"Hiya hiya hiya!!! Thanks for the birthday luuv friends!!! You guys mean the world to me!! It's my birthday it's my birthday!!! Ooooooo yaaaa," she tweeted Saturday.
Happy Birthday Hilary!
