She's got jungle fever!

Katy Perry is giving fans a glimpse of the making of her upcoming music video for "Roar."

The behind-the-scenes look at the jungle-themed setup shows the brunette singer playing around with monkeys and other wild animals.

Perry rocks two sexy outfits in the clip: one cut-up shirtdress and the other a skirt made of leaves with a leopard-print bikini top.

"We are shooting with some very well-trained, very well-mannered animals," she explained. "One monkey is named Ripley, believe it or not!" Beauty and a sense of humor, gotta love that!

The premise of the video surrounds a plane crash on an island that leaves Perry to fend for herself in the jungle.

And between taking selfies with her new best friend Ripley and fashioning couture for herself out of the forest, it's one wild ride for the pop star.

"It's kinda like Survivor and a little bit like Lost," she said of the storyline.

Last week she also revealed an illustrated promo pic and announced that fans would be able to view the video in full on Sept. 5.

It's only a matter of time before it's finally here!

"Roar" is the first single off of her forthcoming album Prism. She opted to share the title of her album and its release date in an out-of-the-box way—a golden way, if you will.

John Mayer's leading lady arranged for an enormous gold big rig to drive the streets of Los Angeles earlier today, with the large words "Katy Perry, Prism, 10.22.13" written across.

The countdown has begun.
