Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey have been married for five years, so by this point, they know each other pretty well.

And when it comes down to their relationship, the Wild 'n Out host knows to defer to his divalicous love—or keep her thinking that she's the one in charge, at least. The 32-year-old explains how he does just this during his appearance the premiere episode of Bethenny Frankel's new show, which airs Monday, Sept. 9.

The Skinnygirl mogul asks Cannon who "runs the show" at home with his and Carey's 2-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe. His cute, but not quite convincing response? "You want me to tell the truth? Her."

"Of course you're supposed to say that," he clarifies. "If I said that [I run the show], I'd have to hear about it when I go home!"

Frankel points out that "a lot of men make the women think they run the show, but the man really runs the show."

"That's a wise man right there," Cannon quips. "I just understand—look, my wife is my wife. I always tell people when she turns hers on, I turn mine off."

Well, that's a good guy, right there. But he doesn't make an appearance on Bethenny just to talk about the love of his life—he's also there to impart some valuable wisdom!

When the talk-show host admits her goal for the first season is to "learn how to twerk," Cannon jumps to his feet and launches into a demonstration of "the Me Sexy Dance."

And, with a little coaching, Ms. Frankel really demonstrates some booty-poppin' skills! Not to worry, though, Miley Cyrus, you're still wearing the Queen of Twerk crown—for now, that is.
