Rapper A$AP Rocky almost got himself into a little scuffle with security while outside the MTV awards show, and it was caught on tape (courtesy of Bossip). Although it's not clear as to what began the confrontation (you can hear two people debating about him wanting to leave or go back inside), it seemed to escalate quickly.
At first, the celeb was just talking to someone outside the building and in a matter of seconds, he goes nose-to-nose with security, causing his model date, Chanel Iman, to get in between them.
The "Problems" rapper moved Iman to the side to continue his verbal interaction, but ultimately decided to just walk back into the Barclays Center. His camp was not immediately available for comment.
However, Rocky's run-in with the guard didn't seem to affect his night too much. After the show, the New York rapper was spotted laughing and taking a video with his iPhone while with Iman and his fellow A$AP Mob member Ferg on the train.
"So im on the train right...i look over and who do i see but A$AP Rocky, Ferg, and Chanel Iman," a user wrote with an Instagram video of the trio.
Lord Flacko appeared on the 2013 MTV VMAs along with basketball player Jason Collins, who recently came out as a gay man, to introduce Macklemore, Ryan Lewis, Mary Lambert and surprise guest Jennifer Hudson's performance of "Same Love."
