Miley Cyrus' 2013 Teen Choice Awards look definitely has the blogosphere buzzing!

The "We Can't Stop" singer wore a bondage-inspired Saint Laurent ensemble featuring a sheer mesh top, exposed midriff and bright white pumps. Her now-famous pixie cut also caught our attention: Miley showcased a cool asymmetrical 'do that framed her face (and flawless makeup).

Luckily, celebrity hairstylist Brant Mayfield shared tips with E! News on how he created the look—so you can too!

1. Nourish Your Hair: Mayfield began by applying a small amount of René Furterer Okara light-activating leave-in fluid to Miley's towel-dried hair to nourish and add radiance to her blond locks. He then used René Furterer Volumea volumizing foam from her scalp to hair ends to ensure long-lasting volume and hold.

2. Create Shape: Next, Mayfield sectioned off Miley's hair and blew it out using a BarBar 3800 blow dryer and medium-size Ibiza boar bristle round brush.

"I make sure to round the left side so I can get the height and shape over to the right," he said. "As I move further to the right I begin to blow the hair straight to create the asymmetric silhouette."

3. Keep It Sleek and Textured: Mayfield suggests applying a dime-size amount of René Furterer Modeling Paste and working the product into the top of your hair to create texture and hold shape.

"I pull the hair through with a wide-tooth comb as not to break up the height and shape," he said. "This combined with the Modeling Paste will add a great chunky texture to the style."

4. Make It Last: Finally, use a light mist to set your hair. A smoothing serum, like René Furterer Karité leave-in repairing serum, will tame flyaways and add movement to the hairstyle.

"After Miley [got] dressed, I put the final touches on the look by fingering her hair into place and lightly misting with René Furterer Vegetal Finishing Spray for the hold that will last the evening," Mayfield said.
