Glad to see that Amanda Seyfried didn't get tired of showing skin while playing Linda Lovelace on camera.
The 27-year-old actress, whose portrayal of the late porn star has been one of the most buzzed-about roles of the year, was every bit the leading lady on the red carpet at the L.A. premiere of Lovelace tonight.
Her updo, kohl-rimmed eyes and nude lips matched the retro vibe of her short, beaded halter dress.
And sure, the peep-show theme extended to the side boob peeking out, but if anyone deserved to leave her bra at home tonight and let it all hang out...
Seyfried had her work cut out of her playing the deeply conflicted adult-movie ingenue, who became a prominent anti-pornography advocate later in life and would go on to compare starring in Deep Throat to being raped. Lovelace died in a car accident in 2002.
"There was the added challenge of the responsibility of playing someone who really existed and reiterating her story and her feelings on her life," Seyfried told E! News at the film's press junket, "because people just pigeon-holed her and she was defined by one thing."
The critics' reviews will come soon enough, but tonight, we had no qualms with Seyfried's red carpet look, which included the same strappy shoes she wore at the film's New York premiere on July 30.
