Chris Brown Sued by Fan for Alleged Nightclub Assault

A Chris Brown fan wants to take him down in court.

A California woman is suing the "Fine China" singer, accusing him of assaulting her after his June 22 show at the Heat Ultra Lounge OC in Anaheim and then having her booted from the nightclub.

In the lawsuit filed in Orange County Superior Court and a copy of which was obtained by E! News, Deanna Gines claims that she met Brown in the VIP section after he was done performing, and that the 24-year-old hitmaker became angry and intentionally shoved her to the ground "causing her bodily injury and harm, including injury to her left knee."

After the purported attack, which occurred around closing time, the complaint states that Ultra's security acting on Brown's behalf subsequently removed the plaintiff from the lounge as a result of her run-in with the R&B star.

Despite Gines requesting medical attention and that an ambulance be called, the suit alleges club employees refused, instead telling her they would call the police if she didn't leave the premises immediately.

Gines is seeking unspecified damages against Breezy for claims including battery, assault, intentional infliction of emotional distress and negligence.

A rep for Brown so far isn't commenting.

But Mike Joher, a rep for Heat Ulltra, tells E! News that Gines' account is false, citing information it had gathered from security and other partygoers who were there that night.

"We know that the claimant was trying to jump on stage and security was doing their job by keeping people away from Chris," Joher said in a statement. "There was no way that he could have touched her, his section was roped off and he had heavy security surrounding him. Witnesses state that the she was persistently trying to rush Chris. She was eventually removed from the club."

The rep added that Gines also took off her shoes and threw them at security when they escorted her out of the venue and caused a commotion outside in the parking lot.

"We have no reason to believe the allegations against Chris. He was a complete gentleman and remained professional throughout the entire night. Neither I, nor any of the witnesses we spoke to, saw him push or touch anybody," noted Joher.

The rep added that Heat will pursue legal action against Gines for "slandering our name and the artist."
