InstagramMalin Akerman's first summer as a parent just keeps getting better.
Before she heads to the 2013 ESPY Awards tonight in Los Angeles, the actress is showing fans how much she loves being a mom with an adorable photo on Instagram.
Showing off her gorgeous bod in a two-piece bikini, the 35-year-old took time to cuddle with her newborn son, Sebastian, in the backyard of her home.
After bonding with her precious little one, we have a pretty good idea what the mother-son duo did next. Wait for it...pool time!
"I get to go swimming with this beautiful boy…lucky me!! #parenthood #love," she gushed in the caption.
Despite giving birth three short months ago, the actress appears to have lost all of her baby weight. Did you see those abs?!
In addition, Akerman appears to be well-rested as Sebastian continues to grow into a handsome young boy. When she first gave birth in April, the actress admitted parenting was no easy task.
"Exhausted…But loving every moment of being a new mom! #parenthood #babiesdontsleepmuch," she once tweeted.
But with a little extra help from her rock star husband, Roberto Zincone, Akerman is now finding it easier to be both a hands-on mom and working actress.
"Me and my husband, we're tag-teaming it. We've got a good groove going so I felt comfortable enough to go out tonight," Akerman recently told E! News when she stepped out to promote her new series, Trophy Wife.
The new comedy, coming this fall to ABC, follows the life of a reformed party girl (Akerman) who ends up marrying a guy she met at a karaoke bar. Hey, what's wrong with some good karaoke fun?
Lucky for Akerman, the new gig won't stop her from doing what she loves most—being a mom!
"People always say it's the biggest love you've ever felt and it truly is," she said. "It's beautiful!"
