Can Channing Tatum be any more perfect? The answer is yes.
As evidenced by his latest Q&A with Elle magazine appropriately titled "In Bed With Channing Tatum," in which the sexy star dishes on his childhood crush, his love for wife Jenna Dewan Tatum and his affinity for stripping down naked the second he gets home.
Safe to say Jenna's one lucky gal.
The actor begins by sharing an embarrassing childhood story involving the girl who happened to be his first kiss, proving the Sexiest Man Alive hasn't always been the most desirable dude.
"The first girl I ever kissed was named Danica. She broke up with me through a friend who yelled—out the bus window—'Oh yeah, Danica doesn't want to go out with you anymore.' The whole bus burst into laughter," he revealed.
Aw, poor Chan! While we're sure he's recovered from the humiliating moment, the actor also vividly remembers his first celebrity crush: Alyssa Milano in Who's the Boss.
"She was it, man," he said of the brunette beauty, who played Samantha Micelli on the hit sitcom from 1984 to 1992. "I'd love to run into her. I'm pretty sure I'd geek out. Isn't she married?"
When the reporter reminds Tatum that he, too, is married, the Magic Mike star proceeds to gush over his beautiful wife Jenna who gave birth to the couple's first child, daughter Everly, in June.
"I had just gotten out of a pretty long relationship, so I was in no way ready for another," he says of first meeting his love while filming Step Up. "I was trying to run from what I knew Jenna was—not someone I was just going to date. But one of my buddies was like, 'What are you doing, man? She's dope.' That night I showed up at her hotel room with a sombrero on, and that was it."
Too cute! As for how the adorable couple has made their nearly seven-year relationship work?
"I wish I could say it was one thing," Channing confessed. "But I think communication and being brutally honest about the things that you want—what you fantasize about, or whatever…. No matter what, talk to each other. That stuff you might be nervous to hear? You gotta want to know."
And the fact that Tatum takes off his clothes the minute he gets home probably doesn't hurt.
"I don't really know," he says of his desire to strip down when he walks in the door. "I have a really nice back porch where the pool is. Once the shoes are off, the socks come off too, and then everything else downstairs just follows at some point."
We repeat: Jenna, you're one lucky girl.
