Congratulations are in order for Selena Gomez.

The actress turned singer accomplished a huge milestone in the music industry today after finding out that her recent (and extremely catchy, if we do say so ourselves) single "Come & Get It" climbed to the No. 1 spot on the charts.

And lucky for us, the entire moment was caught on video.

"This has been one of my proudest achievements and I couldn't do it without everyone!! So grateful. I love you guys! Let's celebrate!!" Gomez tweeted with a link to a YouTube video.

The clip shows a man, presumably from the young pop singer's exec team, handing Selena a phone and telling her to check something out. She crouches over to get a close glimpse of what he had to share with her, and says, "Oh my God. I did it?"

"You are No. 1, Selena," he responds.

"I got my first No. 1?!" she exclaims, "Are you kidding me?!"

The singer becomes dumbfounded and takes a seat while burying her head in her hands saying how "amazing" her latest accomplishment is, and by the sound of her voice, it's clear the news got her a bit teary.

But even through an emotional moment, she still manages to say something that's both funny and endearing: "That's amazing and I still have a tag on my T-shirt."

The video then cuts to Selena giving a message to the fans, telling them, "Hey guys, so today I got some really, really exciting news. I actually got my first No. 1."

Gomez began getting teary-eyed, but continued to say, "I've done four records and this is the first No. 1 that I've ever had, so I cannot thank you guys enough. I wanna thank every radio station, my label and most important of all, is my fans, for loving the song, for requesting it. It means so much to me. So, yeah, this is my first No. 1 and I can't thank you guys enough. I love you all."

Selena's new album, Stars Dance, comes out July 23. Her world tour kicks off Aug. 14 in Vancouver, and then wraps up Nov. 27 in St. Louis, Mo.

Congratulations, girl!
