Paris Jackson was rushed to the hospital in the early hours of the morning June 5 after a reported suicide attempt. In the 911 call placed from the family's Calabasas, Calif., home, a woman describes "a female OD'd on 20 Motrin and cut her arm with a kitchen knife." She was rushed to Children's Hospital in Calabasas for treatment, and transferred Sunday to UCLA Medical Center.

Although family source initially hoped Paris would be released as early as Friday, a source tells E! News now that it's "unlikely" she will be released before her cousin Taj Jackson's wedding on Sunday.

How She's Doing Now: Fortunately, however, a source tells E! News that as of Tuesday, Michael Jackson's 15-year-old daughter "is doing much better."

"The whole experience scared the hell out of her," adds the source. "If it's possible that there is one, this is the silver lining that has come out of this horrible situation. She now knows she has got to concentrate on looking after herself."

"She knows she has some big decisions to make," says the source. "And she knows she needs to get better and start thinking straight."

Her Home Situation: E! News confirmed Friday that child services was investigating Paris' home situation following her attempted overdose, which is routine for the DCFS in involving situations of this nature surrounding minors.

T.J.'s lawyer filed paperwork Monday (signed by him and fellow coguardian Katherine Jackson) allowing the probate court investigator to access all of Paris' medical records and allowing for private interviews with Paris, Blanket and Prince.

Her Relationship With Katherine: A source tells E! News that Paris has the full support of her family as she recovers, including her 83-year-old grandmother. "Paris and the whole family are working out how they can move forward from this," adds the source. "Clearly there are some big issues that need to be sorted. Paris knows that she has a lot of work to do. She is the person that needs to deal with the issues she is personally facing."

Fortunately, she "has a lot of people around her who love her and want her to get better," says the source. "Everyone is working towards the same goal."

Her Relationship With T.J.:  Despite some reports to the contrary, a source tells E! News that T.J. "has been very hands-on with the kids." Paris' coguardian is "very much involved," adds the source, while another source says he is at the Calabasas home two to three times per week.

Her Relationship With Debbie Rowe: Paris has been trying to build a relationship with her biological mother in recent times. Sources tell E! News this has caused tension between Paris and her brother Prince Michael. Still, Paris is "yearning for a mother figure," a source says, adding, "She just wants to be loved. It's been so hard without her dad because no one is really there for her." Debbie lashed out at the paparazzi last week for the constant attention surrounding her family, demanding privacy as Paris continues to recover.

Her Film Future: Paris is scheduled to start shooting Lundon's Bridge and the Three Keys this summer. A production source tells E! News that Paris has been "so excited" about the moving, adding, "She has been taking acting lessons for the last year and a half and wants to be an actress. She is a very talented young lady." The film is scheduled to shoot this summer while Paris is on summer break from school.
