Good Morning America's Sam Champion to Host 40th Daytime Emmy Awards

Awards will be presented in Beverly Hills on June 16 and will air live on HLN.

Good morning, Daytime Emmys!

Good Morning America's weather anchor Sam Champion has been tapped to host the 40th Annual Daytime Entertainment Awards, HLN announced on Wednesday.

It was also announced that Robin Meade, host of HLN's Morning Express with Robin Meade, will sing both best song nominees, Sheryl Crow's "This Day" for Katie and Little Big Town's "Good Afternoon" for Good Morning America, and Showbiz Tonight's A.J. Hammer will host the live red carpet special Showbiz @ The Daytime Emmys.

Presenters at this year's ceremony include Kris Jenner, Bethenny Frankel, Kathy Griffin, Rachel Ray, Dr. Drew Pinsky, The Talk's Julie Chen, Sharon Osbourne, Sara Gilbert and Aisha Tyler and more.

Anderson Cooper hosted last year's show.
