This year's Emmys are going to be legen—wait for it...and I hope you're not lactose intolerant because the second half of that word is dary!

CBS announced today that Neil Patrick Harris will return to host the Primetime Emmy Awards for the second time. The How I Met Your Mother star, who first hosted in 2009, will also serve as producer of the 65th broadcast of the awards.

"I couldn't be more honored and excited to be hosting this year's Emmy Awards," Harris said. "And what perfect timing–I'll just do the exact same script I'm about to use for the Tonys. ‘And the Emmy for Best Revival of a Musical goes to Breaking Bad! See, told you it works."

Added Ken Ehrlich, executive producer of the 65th Primetime Emmy Awards:"Neil is one of the most versatile artists currently working in television. It's going to be great fun to utilize his acting, hosting, musical and producing talents on the Emmys, an event designed to showcase all of the elements that combine to make great television. We've had the pleasure of working together on other award shows in the past, and to have him bring all of that versatility to this year's Emmy telecast again is very exciting for all of us working on the production."

Besides hosting the Emmys in 2009, Harris has also been a favorite host of the Tony Awards, emceeing the show in 2009, 2011 and 2012. Now if we can just get him to host the Grammys and the Oscars, he'll have his own hosting EGOT!

The 2013 Emmy Awards will air Sunday, Sept. 22 on CBS.
