Tom Cruise's ex-wife got steamy on set with her co-star in a scene for Spike Lee's upcoming romantic flick

Katie Holmes and her co-star Luke Kirby got hot and heavy on the set of their upcoming romantic flick Mania Days, filming a passionate love scene in NYC.

This is just the latest shot of the onscreen couple packing on the PDA, with Holmes and Kirby recently getting spotted holding hands while filming other scenes.

Mania Days, produced by Spike Lee, centers on the relationship of a manic depressive poet and a depressed rapper who meet in a psychiatric hospital and strike up a romance. 

The film also stars Christine Lahti and Griffin Dunne, and is scheduled for a 2014 release.
