Looks like Chief Keef's need for speed has run him into a legal pot hole.
The rapper (real name: Keith Cozart) was arrested Monday near Northfield, Ill., for speeding after police clocked the MC zipping along at a hair-raising 110 mph—in a 55 mph zone.
Per the Chicago Tribune, the 17-year-old rapper was popped at around 3:45 a.m. while heading north on the Edens Expressway in his BMW.
Keef reportedly had three other passengers in the vehicle. He was subsequently taken into custody and was cited for speeding and exceeding his passenger limit—purportedly, the rapper carried a driver's permit that only let him carry one passenger. A court hearing is scheduled June 17.
Keef's been on a roll nabbing headlines lately—and not the good kind.
Earlier this month, he was popped for disorderly conduct at an Atlanta hotel after security alerted police that the rapper was allegedly smoking weed in his room.
Perry later apologized, writing diplomatically, "Mr. Keef! I'm sorry if I offended you. I heard a lot of people guesting on the song & didn't even know it was you in particular."
