Helen Mirren is making nice after yelling at a group of local London drummers.

During a performance of her stage show The Audience earlier this month, the Oscar winner marched out of the Gielgud Theatre dressed in character as Queen Elizabeth II and used some not-so-nice language to berate members of the Batala music troop for interrupting the show.

And just this weekend, Mirren attended the As One in the Park gay and lesbian festival, where Batala was performing, to makes amends with the group of musicians.

NEWS: Helen Mirren yells at drummers

Liam Emerson, one of the Batala drummers, tells E! News, "She did indeed come along to the gig to personally speak to us. The story was unexpectedly huge and she hadn't directly spoken to us (apart from shouting at us to stop!) since the incident."

Emerson continued, "She was very lovely and also explained to us just how close we were to the stage inside the theatre, and that some of the audience thought it may have even been part of the play."

The 67-year-old actress was even supposed to perform with the Batala musicians over the weekend, but scheduling issues prevented that from happening.

"On Sunday we were originally scheduled to perform at 2.30, and she was going to join us on stage, but we got put back to 4.00 and she had to leave before that," he said. "But it was lovely to meet her and put a bit of closure to the story!"
