Warning to all other reporters: Have tissues and a clothspin on hand while interviewing Will Arnett!
E! News' Kristin Dos Santos learned this lesson the hard way when she once laughed so hard during an interview with Arnett that she "ruptured a blood vessel" in her nose! Of course, she came prepared when they came face-to-face on the red carpet at CBS' upfront presentation in New York City, where he was promoting his new sitcom The Millers, which also stars Margo Martindale, Beau Bridges and J.B. Smoove.
"She sued me for damages," Arnett says with a laugh. "I don't even know how much I've got on me!" Lawsuits and nose bleeds aside, we chatted with Arnett about his hilarious new series and Arrested Development's highly-anticipated return on May 26...
"I think the show will be really rewarding for people who are fans," Arnett says of Arrested Development's return. "I think you'll feel very satisfied. It's good!"
Also good? The chemistry between Arnett and his Millers co-stars. In fact, it's so good Arnett jokes that the series was originally titled "the Perfect Storm!"
Smoove says the cast is so funny that they often can't get through takes without breaking. "We go in very hard!" he exclaims. "There's been several times where I wish they were recording our rehearsals because we go in every single take!" He then goes on to compare showrunner Greg Garcia to Samuel L. Jackson and the series to the Avengers. Yes, really!
Watch our interview with the cast above to find out how The Millers is like The Avengers and why Arnett decided to join the show!
