And NBC's pickups continue!

After ordering two dramas and three comedies on Thursday, the peacock network picked up two additional pilots on Friday.

Ironside, a drama starring Blair Underwood, who last starred on NBC's short-lived The Event, and a sitcom from Cougar Town and Scrubs' creator Bill Lawrence join J. J. Abram's Believe and the About a Boy TV adaptation as the projects that made the cut.

Ironside: Underwood stars as sexy and acerbic police detective who is relegated to a wheelchair after a shooting in this remake of the ‘60s series, which will find his character pushing and prodding his hand-picked team to solve the city's most difficult cases. Greek's Spencer Grammer, The Killing's Brent Sexton also star.

Undateable: Based on the book by Ellen Rakieten and Anne Coyle, the multi-cam series from Lawrence centers on a group of friends called the "undateables" whose lives are changed by a confident slacker who enters their world and teaches them everything he knows about "the game of love." Whitney's Chris D'Elia and Brent Morin star.

NBC canceled four comedies, including Whitney and Up All Night.

(E! and NBC are both part of the NBCUniversal family.)
