E! News has learned exclusively that the Hollywood couple paid a visit Thursday to their new love nest in Bel Air, Calif., which is undergoing some major construction.
"Justin drove them in their Mercedes up to their new house in Bel Air, and they were met at the gate by contractors," an eyewitness tells E! "There was so much stuff going on inside the property with a crane and several trucks that it was hard for Justin to find room to park. Once he did, they got out together and started to check out the entryway, courtyard and roundabout. Then they went inside and reviewed the latest progress that has been made."
According to the source, the gated residence still has no electricity and needs to be completely rewired among other things.
"There is still a lot of work to do, and their original April move-in date has now been pushed back several months," added the eyewitness. "Jen was in a cheery mood and chatty with the contractors. She had a scarf around her neck and very little makeup on. They stayed at the house for 45 minutes before leaving."
The Wanderlust star's business manager purchased the 8,500-square-foot house in January on behalf of the Wonder Trust, and Aniston and her fiancé have been busily remodeling and expanding it by an additional 4,000 square feet. Among other plans, the couple is adding on a new deck with a trellis and opening up the master bedroom.
