It's a tragic day for Teen Mom 2's Jenelle Evans.

After the star filed assault charges against her husband Courtland Rogers Wednesday, E! News confirms that the MTV star indeed suffered a miscarriage and ex-fiancé Gary Head has rushed to her aid.

A source tells E! News that "Jenelle was just now released from Onslow County Hospital" and she "suffered a lot of bleeding, is drained and Gary is there to comfort her."

Head has also taken to his Twitter account to provide updates on his former ladylove and even tweeted a photo from the hospital:

"With @PBandJenelley_1 at the hospital. Hopefully she gets better. I'm about to vomit or faint," he posted on his micro-blogging page this morning.

"All this blood. I'm surprised she's still standing. I'm surprised I'm still standing," he added, detailing the heartbreaking event.

As for Jenelle's take on the incident?

"THANK F—KING GOD @gary_head IS HERE FOR ME," she posted on her social media page.

Jenelle currently has one child, 2-year-old son Jace

We wish the star all the best and a speedy recovery.
