If there's one skill James Bond definitely can add to his repertoire, it's knowing how to parallel park.

A month before his latest 007 adventure, Skyfall, hit the big screen to massive box-office success, Daniel Craig passed a driving course in New York in order to get a driver's license.

Richard Fernandez, an office manager at Manhattan's Professional Driving School of the Americas, told the New York Post the 44-year-old thespian submitted to a written test, attended a five-hour classroom driver's-ed class and took a road test on Staten Island as part of the Department of Motor Vehicles' requirements for foreigners.

"No one is exempt, regardless of who you are," Fernandez told the paper. "His assistant requested a special class for Daniel by himself. No other students were there. He was such a nice dude, so friendly."

No word whether Mr. Bond went out for his spin in his signature Aston Martin DB5, but it's safe to assume he didn't eject his driver's-ed teacher.

After completing the course, Craig reportedly went to the DMV with a buddy and passed the main test with flying colors.

It made sense that Craig applied for the license, since he and wife Rachel Weisz are residents of New York state.
